South Richmond

Here are your Green candidates standing in South Richmond for the local elections in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on Thursday 7th May 2026:

Paddy says:

I want to turn my values into practical action in the community I grew up in, and where I’ve lived for the last 13 years. As a successful business leader and entrepreneur, I’m used to taking responsibility, making tough decisions, and delivering results.

I’ve led large teams and complex client relationships, bringing people with very different views together around a shared vision and culture of growth, and fairness. I’m an excellent presenter and communicator, both written and spoken, and comfortable in the media and on the doorstep.

Residents should be able to trust that their councillor will listen, work hard, and get things done. I will use my skills, experience and local roots to champion a fairer, greener Richmond, and to help grow the Green Party as a serious force for change locally and nationally.

Tanya says:

I fell in love with South Richmond 30 years ago and understandably never left.

I’ve had a long career working in local charities and am a proud mum of three.

We’re facing social and environmental crises on multiple fronts. I have volunteered in homeless shelters in the borough and am very concerned about the long term impacts of austerity on people living here and across the country.

I’m fighting for affordable homes, a clean river and a high street worth celebrating.
